TRG finishes 1 and 2 in GT Class at the 2009 Rolex 24 Hours at Daytona

Congratulations to TRG (The Racer’s Group) who fought hard in a very grueling race that took a heavy tole on many GT Class cars.  They placed 9th and 10th overall, an outstanding result giving you an idea of the attrition on the DP class.  Perfect preparation and a lot of luck is what it takes to win GT.  The GT cars are my favorite.  They are the closest to what we sell in the showroom and drive on the street.

Jorg Bergmeister in the #67 car took the class win with his co-drivers Andy Lally, Patrick Long and R.J. Valintine.

2nd place went to the TRG #66 car of Ted Ballou and his co-drivers Emmanual Callard, Tim George JR, Richard Lietz and Spencer Pumpelly.

The 3rd place Porsche was the Wright Motorsport’s #33 with Sascha Maassen and co-drivers Phillip Martien, Patrick Pilet and B.J. Zacharias.

A GREAT result for Porsche!
