Great performances in the girl’s singles at the French Open in Paris

Wins for Porsche talents Annika Beck and Antonia Lottner

Stuttgart. In the girl’s singles at the French Open in Paris, two members of the Porsche Talent Team Germany have both progressed to the third round. Eighteen-year-old Annika Beck, the second seed, won 6-4, 6-2 against the Russian Victoria Kan. Antonia Lottner had an even easier passage: the 15-year-old, one of the youngest players at the Grand Slam tournament in Roland Garros, brushed aside the Indian Ratnika Batra 6-1, 6-2.

Within the framework of the Premium Partnership between Porsche AG and the German Tennis Association (DTB), the Porsche Talent Team Germany provides support for four young up-and-coming players. Alongside Annika Beck and Antonia Lottner, the other two are Carina Witthöft and Dinah Pfizenmaier who celebrated her biggest career success in Paris when qualifying sensationally for the main draw. Playing in her first ever Grand Slam, she even got through to the second round where she was beaten by Victoria Azarenka (Belarus), the current world No. 1.
