2006 Porsche Club Coupes in Azzuro California Blue

Porsche built 50 Club Coupes to commemorate the 50th Anniversary of the Porsche Club of America.  They were only for sale to club members and were all painted Azzuro California Blue.  Take a look at the painted console with Sand Beige interior.  The 3.8 liter X51 engine making 381 horsepower and Sport Exhaust were standard equipment.  The variation in the color is due to the first day of Rennsport III being over cast.

I posted these so the members at Rennteam who have been looking at the Carrera S Cab of the same color could get a better look in different light conditions.

Does any one know for sure the proper spelling of Azzurro or Azzuro or Azurro or what?  I see it many ways.

  1. […] For more pictures of Azzurro California Blue see todays post: https://porschebahn.wordpress.com/2008/10/14/2006-porsche-club-coupes-in-azzuro-california-blue/ […]

  2. The proper name for the color of the 2006 911 Club Coupe is Azurro California Blue Metallic . I own #33 of 50 and that is the exact spelling on the Original Dealer Sticker for my Club Coupe.
AWESOME Carrera S and a real head turner due to the color! X51 package and engine tuned exhaust sound also adds to the head turning!
